A SYEAR-GLD third grade pupil at St. Mary School, Thomas Michael Levacy, of Ireland Rd., Bt. 5 Lancaster, died Sunday night when he accidentally hanged him self while fixing a swing, the Fair field County Sheriff's Department reported. The sheriff's report stated that Leyvacy was hanging the swing when the ladder he was standing on fell and the youth caught his neck in the loop of the rope being used. He was found shortly before 6:30 p. m. by his brother, Coroner L. L. Kersell, M. D., ruled the death as accidental. Levacy sustained a broken neck. The boy's mother and brother were treated for shock at Lancas ter-Fairfield County Hospital. THE YOUTH leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest P. Levacy; 1 brothers, David, Robert, James, Richard of the home; 7 sisters, Mrs. Anthony J. Ross, Lancaster, Theresa, Frances, Patricia, Nan cy. Lisa Lynn and Beth Anne of the home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Marcinko, Lancaster and Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Levacy, Plains, Ohio; great grandmother, Mrs. A. A. Weisenbach, Athens, Thomas would have been 3 years old this Thursday. Mass of the Angels will be of fered Wednesday 11 a. m. in St. Mary Church, burial, St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at Sheridan Funeral Home after 71 p. m. today.
