Corporals from among the recruits have been named in three of the five companies, to serve until October 1, as follows: Company A—W. S. Washer, Harry Pearson, W. B. San ford, T. J. O’Connor, P. E. Deucher, Jr., E. C. Wellborn, Fred Alger, A. D. Gill, Mr. Desmond, Adolf Van Spanje and L. D. Perrige. Company B—Fred C. Best, E. R. Sharp, Jr., E. W. Allen, Paul Comstock, Gill McCook, R. E. Heun, Raymond B. Roos, Otto Scheiner, James E. Tallace and Wharton Clay. Company D—D. R. Swaim, Judge Charles McDonald, Norman Haldane, S. H. Hess, J. C. Brush, H. B. Sherwood, P. C. Avery, J. T. Burns, Guy L. Jones and H. R. Wulfing. In addition to the corpo rals, six acting sergeants have been named in Com pany D, from the ranks of the recruits. They are Judge Harry Dolan, F. N. Savage, W.
