Clayton Cox to the Great BeyondClayton ('ox. one of Minot's most highly respected citizens assed awuy this morning from a lingering Hinas* from heart trouble. Mr. (ox had been troubled with his heart off and on for a good many y ars, and of late, had been having serious trouble. Some months ago he was compelled to give up his position with the Minot uiill, and went, west where his son (Charles liven, where he soon grew bettor, and returned to Minot a few weeks ago looking belter and stronger than »he had for years. He again entered the mill, but «oon waft taken with another spell, which proved to be his last. For weeks he had been under the care or a trained .nurse and doctors had-given him more than the ordinary attention. Death came peacefully.The funeral arrangements have not been completed at this writing, butthe funeral will probably be held on Sunday, and will likwly be conducted by the .Masonic lodge, of which order he was a member for many years.The dweased leaves a wife, and two sons Charlie, from the state of Washington, and Harry, who la erx-ployed In this city. He nJao leaves onft daughter, I*ou.Mr. Cox had been a resident of Minot for about eight yean. corakig here from Harvey, when the Minot Flour mill was erected. ’Ae had been a miller for many years, at one time managing a mill at Warren. 111. He was about fifty years of age. Mr. Cox was a fine man. kind to everybody. and Minot loses one of her very best citizens. The Independent extends its .heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved ones.
