A man by the name of Louis (iallot has been arrested for complicity in tin* wrecking of the Union National Bank, (iallot had been a depositor lor small amounts up to t wo years ago, but since that time, had no account with the Bank. lie. is now charged with drawing out upon fraudulent checks, through oullusiou with Culomb, the recentlydeceased book keeper, more than 8200,boo of the Bank’s money. While Gallon is known to have been insolvent, he is said to have spent money lavishly. There is yet a shortage of 8100,000 to be accounted for.
