A man by the name of Louis (la Hot has been arrested for com-pliciry in tlio wrecking of the Union National Bank, (iallot had been a depositor for small amounts up to two years ago, but since that time, had no account with the Bank, lie is now charged with drawing out upon fraudulent checks, through collusion with Colomb, the recently deceased bookkeeper, more than 8200,000 of the Bank’s money. While Oallot is known to have been insolvent, he is said lo have spent money lavishly. There is yet a shortage of! $400,000 to be accounted for. Oth- j \ er astounding revelations are ex-peeled to be made in a dew davs, which will be followed by the arrest, of mure “outside” confederates.
