She was a mem ber of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and was a 58-year member of Bethlehem Cha ir, Order of the Eastern , having received her 50-year membership pin in May 1980. Born in Germania on July 22, 1898, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Anne (Cox) Lee. Her husband, Richard S. Head, preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1963. Mrs. Head was a teacher in Grant County for four years, a cook at Mount Storm and Beard Elementary schools, and co owner and operator of Head’s Custard Stand. She was also a member of the Mount Storm United Methodist Church.
