Last year she was in our school here and was one of the brightest in her class, she was ever courteous andkind to teachers, and schoolmates. All those who gained her acquaintance submitted to the power of love and became her warm friends.chrits amwyy ywrwyagm mafmtfw dMiss Crane was a gooc^ Christian young lady, raised from infancy in the Catholic Church, and guided by its teachings through her days on earth she lived a life of virtue and peace For one so young she was well educated in her Christian docterine, and took special interest in its duties.She leaves a widowed mother and several brothers and sisters with numerous friends and relatives -to mourn her untimely demise. The funeral took place Saturday morning from the family residence to St Michaels Church Holbrook, where services were offered for the departed soul. The remains were laid to rest beside those of her father who preceded her a year and a half ago.The bereaved family have the sympathy of all in this sad hour of bereavementprosperous country, came to America when about twenty jears old. After her Marriage in the east to Michael Cooney they came to Iowa and have resided here for nearly sixty years. Her husband preceded her to the world which is free form care and sorrow about ten years ago.She was a good Christian mother, a kind neighbor and a worthy friend Through good care she reared and e ucated her family, teaching them their duty to their maker, and by her good advice adn example the worth of a good and true life.The deceased leaves to survive her five sons and three daughtes, who are as follpws: Dan and Michael, of Castleton, N. D.; John of Mon tana; Robert of York Twp.; James of this place; Mrs. Thoms. Costello, of Kansas; Mrs Lawrence Burke of Eria, N. D.; and Mrs. R. F. Duffy this place. Her husband proceeded her to the world beyong about ten years ago.The funeral took place from her late residence Saturday morning, Bequieu Mass and services were held at St. Joseph’s Church this place. The remains followed by a councourse of friends were taken to Holbrook and there beside her husband’s were laid to rest.Mrs. Margaret CooneyMrs. Margaret Cooney an aged lady of about eighty-eight years died last Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter Mrs. R.
