—®W u VI v UUI *'U 111Keene Whiting while hauling a load of hulk wheat to Pocatello Tuesday afternoon met with an accident which resulted In the loss of a part of the load and the probable loaa of one horse. A quarter mile below the south fork of Mink creek, on a part of the road wide enough to permit the easy passing of two outfits, an automobile came up the slight grade at an excessive rate of speed and came to a stop in front of the leaders of the *four-»horse team. They became frightened and ran away, one of the wheelers falling and being dragged by the heavy | wagon. It was injured so badly it will probably have to be shot. Mr. Whiting brought the teams to a halt 1 without sustaining any Injuries himself. The man driving the car did ' not stop to ascertain the results of ; the runaway caused by his carelessness.
