Owens, professor atColumbia University, will return tohis native Texas to present adiscussion of “The Writer and His Region” Nov. 9.A special Thanksgiving program by Dr. Donald A. Cowan, presidentof the University of Dallas, will be featured Nov. 22.Music and dance will be on the Dec. 6 program of the OlaetaBasque Festival of Bilbao, acompany of singers, dancers, andinstrumentalists from the colorfulBasque region of the Pyrenees. TheCroup will be making its first American tour.The School of Education will sponsor a discussion of “Frontiers in Education” by Dr. Theodore Landsman, University of Flordia, on Dec. 6. Specific artists have not been announced for theForum Arts Special program scheduled for Jan. 12.Students who enroll in the Forum Aits program are offered a chance to earn half a credit by attending at least six of the programs offered. Students who find it necessary to miss regular programs may substitute one alternate program which will be listed as they are scheduled.
