Officer Paul DeLaRosa turn ed in two reports, one formal and the other informal, follow ing the investigation of a Sat urday morning mugging. Joseph Robert Elvelan, 20, of 4405 Ave. N, said he was walking past the corner of 3ird Street and Avenue N about 6 am. when a camload of youths pulled up. The youths go out, attacked him and took $5 he was carrying. Eluelan said one of the youths was carrying a razor and had cut him several times before they fled. Doctors at John Sealy Hospital, where he was treated and released, reported no severe lacerations, however Police units were alerted to look out for the car but no ar rests have been made yet In investigating the incident DeLaRosa noted that the Stroud Funeral Home ambulance that took Eluelian to the hos pital had no attendant. He ques tioned the driver about it and it to Chief of Police William J. Burns. Burns said Saturday after noon that no action could be taken until Monday. He said he would discuss the matter fur ther with DeLaRosa before that time
