We find in Leviticus 25:36, “Take thou no usury of him or increase; but bear thy God that thy mbrother may live with thee.” And in verse fr37, “Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend to him thy victuals for jr increase.” And in E7vekiel32:12, “In thee fjhave they taken gifts to shed blood, and thou phast greedily gained of they neighbors by ex- ditortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord nGod.” Verse thirteen, “Behold therefore I have smitten my hand at thy dishonest gain mwhich thou hast made.” Verse fourteen, “Can p,thine heart endure, and ca$ thine hands be thstrong in the days that I shall deal with thee? soI the Lord have spoken it and will do it.” And arin Chapter IB, verse 13, “Hath given forth crupon usufy ,and hath taken increase; shall he then live? He shall not live; he hath done wlt;all these abominations; he shall surely die, W(his blood shall be upon him.” wlt;“Observation and reason will show that the te;foregoing quotations are a simple statement },srcause to effect; from action fbreacltbn.”~Jesse T.
