The Doepp home on the Dixie highway has become a temporary school building while a part of the Central School building is being reconstructed. The seventh and eighth grades have moved to the Standard school and the kindergarten and first gradeto the Doepp place.The Homewood grade school orchestra is to be organized next week under the direction of Mrs. Oomstack,teacher of music.Miss Mills, the first grade teacherof the Standard school, has undergonea serious operation, but is improvingrapidly.Miss Meritz, first grade teacher at the Central school, has been absent for the last two weeks because of illness. Mrs. Reiser is the substitute.The fifth and sixth grade nature study classes were much interested in the slides on wild flowers which were brought from Chicago by Miss rimian and which were shown by the iew electric lantern purchased by the board last year.
