Columbus Junction, In., Sept. 20— Although 13 men of the last year’s football squad were graduated, pros pects for a fair high school eleven are good here, according to Coach Wil liam Douthnint. Only four letter men have returned for football this season, but there is a flood of material eager to win berths on the team. Judging from early sea son development, Coach Douthitt is sure of a heavier line and a little more speed in the backfield. Thirty-eight candidates answered the first call and have been working out for the past two weeks. The schedule: Sept. 25, Columbus Junction at West Chester. Oct. 2, Morning Sun at Columbus Junction. Oct. 9, Sigourney at Columbus Junc tion. Oct. 16, West Liberty at Columbus Junction. Oct. 23, Columbus Junction at Iowa City. Oct. 30, Muscatine at Columbus Junction. Nov. 6, Wapello at Columbus Junc tion. Nov. 11, Columbus Junction at Winfield. Nov. 20, Columbus Junction at Brighton. Nov. 25, Washington at Columbus Junction.
