Jacobs, Esq., a Jus-tice of the Peace,Jin and for said county, a negro man who says his name is5CThomas Woodward,j and that he belongs to Mr. Peterson, anegro trader, and ranaway from him atj Natchez, in October, 1849.■ Said negro is of a dark copper color, | stout made, thick neck and low forehead, has a good se* of large teeth with the ex-ception of one of the upper front row broken off near the gum. He is about 23 years old, 5 feet 4 inches high. He had on when committed white cotton pants andshirt.The owner of said negro is requested to come forward, prove property, pay charges and take him away, or he will be dealt with according to law.A.
