AKT STAMG DKAD.Word has been received here of the death of Art Stadiir at Fort Sheridan, Illinois, after two months' illness with pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. Mr. Stadig, who was a partner in the Stadiir Brothers' garage at Glentana, had recently returned from overseas service in the army and was taken sick at the fort with the illness that resulted in his death on Wednesday morning. The body was taken to Plenty wood for burial.Mr. Stadig was well known in the north country, having made his home for several years in Glentana, leaving there last year to enter the service. Me was esteemed by all who knew him and leaves hundreds of friends in the Opheim and Glentana country to mourn his loss with his bereaved family.—Opheim Observer.
