The first important official appointment of the Conference was that of the Rev.H. B. Workman, Official - B.A., as Principal ofAppointments. Westminster College, bis brother, Mr. W. P. Workman, M.A., having at this Conference been made Governor and Head Master of Kingswood School, the dual control at this well-known school having been superseded.. Their father, the late Rev. I. S. Workman, waa a popular preacher, and much sought after for evangelistic services. Mr. H. B. Workman obtained his M.A. degree, with honours in Philosophy, at the London • University, while his younger brother graduated B. So. at London, became Foundation Soholar at Trinity College, Cambridge, graduated as Second Wrangler, and finally received the coveted honour of the Followship of Trinity. Both of these appointments are regarded as eminently suitable ones. Two ministers served important positions at Headingly College, near Leeds, the Rev. T. Hardwich Mawson succeeding the Rev. G. Stringer Rowe ae House Governor and Tutor in Pastoral Theology, and the Rev. W. J. Moulton, M.A. becomes Tutor in Old Testament History. He is the son of the Rev. Ebenezer Moulton, and was educated at Kingswood, the Leya, and Clare College, Cambridge, where he graduated with honours in the Mathematical Tripos. Although of the same name, he is not related to the late Rev. Dr. William F. Moulton. The Rev. I. Alfred Vanes, B.A. has been designated Tutor in NewTestament subjects'and Classics at Richmond for next year, b has also the Rev. W. West Holds worth, M.A„ as Tutor in the same subjects at Handswortb. Both of these ministers are returned Missionaries, having spent many yearB in the Mysore District, v ■
