muL wiu uo 1)00 ieauure. a-iec us an go.Mrs. Rebecca Middleton died Sunday afternoon at three o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Alcorn of Hickory street, aged 75 years. The funeral will be held Tuesday forenoon at the English evangelical church, Rev. Mr. Farr officiating. The deceased leaves live children to mourn her loss. They ■ are John Middleton of Jackson street, William Middleton of Tyler ^ avenue, Mrs. H. E. Alcorn of Hickory street, a daughter living in Kansas, and another living in Ohio. The deceased was born in Wayne county, this state, and emigrated to St. Joseph county with her parents in her girlhood. Shehas been a resident of this city a great*many years, and was well known by all the old settlers.
