We learn from the Washington Mirror, that it is in contemplation to establish a permanent Museum at the seat of the general government, under the auspices and direction of Mr. John Varden, a highly respectable and well known artizan of Washington. Mr. V. has already collected a large number of curiosities, and among these may bo seen two genuine Egyptian mummies.—We think he ought to be encouraged.
