TO!Thursday night, Sept. 4 was trophy night for the league and it was literally a one-man show. There was a total of four trophies to be presented and all four went to the same person. Doug Johnstone! Finishing the season with 34 goalsToronto Ball Hockey's president and vice president flank the man who took all the trophies at the end of the season recently. Red Captain Doug Johnstone (centre) needs help to hold his four trophies for most goals, most assists, scoring championship and first place standing for his team. Bob Legault, president of the association, congratulates the all-round winner and vice-president Joe Infurnari holds one of the awards.and 34 assists, Johnstone set records that may never be equalled. For the regular 20 game season Johnstone averaged 3.40 points per game. By winning both the most goals and most assists trophies, Johnstone automatically won theT.B.M.A. scoring championship and another trophy. Finally, with the Reds finishing in first place, they were to receive the Joesepm M. Infurnari Trophy presented to the captain of the team who just happened to be DougJohnstone. One trophy that was not presented was the Robert S. Legault ( Championship Trophy presented to the team that wins the playoffs. And who knows, Reds have a good chance of winning that one as well. Only time will tell!!
