SAN ANTONIO (AP)—A search is on for a state Water Commis sion geologist John Staves of Austin, missing since Friday Commission officials called Staves a ‘steady worker’ and said they were sure he was ‘not missing of his own will.” Staves, 32 and father of two left Austin Friday to check water wells in Laredo and Webb County He planned to return Sunday His commission truck was found early Saturday in San Antonio with his clothes locked inside and his spectacles slightly bent under the truck
