He had prepared to again fbo a student at the Ellisville insti-,tution, but soon changed his plan, accepting the opportunity to become the protege of tho man ■who had singled him out.He has - informed his parents that he has been received with every courtesy and accommodation and is to tho belief that he will bo able to follow such a course as to make the donor of the chance, proud of his selection.Young Watson graduated at the Laurel High School in l‘J27.Another Laurel boy, through his integrity and industry has been regarded and has lieen given an oppoitunity to. gain an unsual education and to be assisted, through the efforts of a man whose hobby is to help some worthy young man each ear, getting him staited and aiding him, seeing to it that he gets under way and able to proceed, aiding himself.This is Clifford W*t*.vn, «on ot Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wat011, of this city. The young man, better known as “Tom,” to his intimate friends, is to become a student at the Univeisity of Indiana, at Bloomington.
