From Wednesday’s Post.At a splendid attendance of citizens held in the Council Chamber last night, and presided over by HisHonor Judge Harding, it was decided to take out a charter under the name of the Lindsay Golf and Country Club and complete the purchase of the forty-five acros of the Corley farm, just west of the town (or more property if necessary).Those behind this proposition have in view the extension and improvement of the golf course, the laying ! out of first class tennis courts aswell a*5 a bowling green and extend the club house so as to make membership in the club highly desirable.Sale of Stock in the project will be proceeded with, $10 shares being issued.
