Six directors were chosen. They are athe Rev. R. P. Noiiiinensen, the Rev. 11. H1 v(iieseheu, Will Rickmever, 11. F. *'Ulirens, Francis Ruenzel and \V. F. Puepen brink.The annual report of the superintendent showed that eighty-two children were taken into the home during theyear, of which forty-seven were girls and thirty-five were boys. Twenty-five of this number were taken only temporarily, and forty-five were babies tinder 1 year. Fourty-four were placed in homes and seventeen were replaced.Forty-eight applications for children were received. The total number of children cared for in the home was 127 of whom forty-five were in the home on September 1, 1908.ll
