She was born July 1-1. 1850, and was 50 years of age at|v the time of her death. 81m was born, raised, educated and married in Randolph county and was fcho daughter of the late John Mathews, who died twenty years ago. .(She was married to J. L. Scott thirty-six years ago and there was born to this union nine children, live sons and four daughters, all of whom are living. The pons are Persy, Julius* Floyd, C .N oi this city* and John of Fond Greek, Okla. The daughters are Misses Mary and Martha and Mrs. W. B. Scott of this city, and Mrs. ArthurAlexander of Milton.For thirty years Mrs. Scott has beena consistent member of the SouthernM. E. church. She was a loving wife,an affectionate, kind and considerate mother, and a iriend to all and herdeath is greatly mourned by all whoknew her.The funeral services will be held atthe Northeast Chapel at 10 o’clock to-morrow morning and burial in Meals’cemetery, four miles east of the city.The family have the sympathy of
