Aleyne.The first child baptized in the church was Clarkson Perry Shea, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Shea, on March 16, 1869. The first olass confirmed was on June 22, 1870, by Bishop Talbert of Indiana. Among those confirmed were Mrs. Catherine Tanner, Mrs. Phoebe P. Tanner, Mrs. Jaliia Spears, and Eliza Shea.The first marriage was that of Robert G. Derner and Matilda Moore, June, 1869.The first foneral was that of Frances Emily Sylvester, June 1, 1871.The resent church officers are: Senior Warden—T. C Gordon Junior Warden—T. W. Mann Clerk—H. H.
