NEW EPISCOPALCmJRfflCouner Stone Laid Tuesday for the new Edifice.The ceremony of laying the corner stone of the new obnroh at Fourth street and First avenue northeast, now in course of erection by the people of the Church of Our ^Savior, took place Tuesday afternoon.TThe inclement weather prevented a large attendance. The services were held In the old church. Rev. A. W. Ryan of Duluth represented Bishop Morrison, who was unable to be present. Rev. F. E. Aleyne, the resident rector, Rev. W. Moody of Morris, and Rev H. F. Panhall. St Cloud, assisted Rev. Ryan. Revs. Ryan and Moody made addresses. After the services a procession was formed and marched to the new church, where the corner stone was laid . with appropriate ceremonies.In the evening there was a mission service, at which the visiting clergymen officiated.The cornerstone is in polished granite and was laid in the northeast corner of the building. In it was placed a box containing a Holy Bible, Book of Common Prayer and Hymnal, Journal of the Diocese of Duluth, Parish Records, Westcott's “Catholic Principles, ” photoraphs of Bishop Morrison and and Rev. Aleyne, and Transcript containing church history, also U. S. money of current date, dollar, fifty cent-piece, twenty-five-cent piece, and nickel. The monogram “L H.
