TABLES TURNED ON OFFICER.V. G. Richardson, deputy marshal, who has made quite a reputation upon the number of arrests made since his employment by the city, was arraigned before Acting Mayor J. R. Mayhan Thursday afternoon and fined $10 and costs for fighting.Pete Stephens, about whom the trouble came up, was also assessed $5 and costs for disturbing the peace, having entered a plea of guilty. The latter it seems was ordered off the street by Richardson and upon making some short reply was struck by the officer.
