On Wednesday evening occurred a double wedding at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Curtis, .four miles east ot tins city, the contracting parties being Miss Genevra Curtis to Mr. George L. lteed and Miss Stella Genther to Mr. LeUoy Hartman. The brides are daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Curtis and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Genther and are well known and popular, not only in their home, but in Fnirbury and .letTerson county, being amialle accomplished and handsome.* Both were dressed in white cashmere and preseuted a pretty appearance. The bridegrooms are energetic business men of this place. Mr. Heed lias been with the Fairmont creamery association for nine years and displaying merit and business tact has worked .up from route man to manager of the creamery* at this place, lie is well known throughout Jefferson, Saline and Fillmore counties. Mr. Hartman has also been in the employ of the creamery association for some time and now has charge of the separator in the creamery at this place.At h o’clock the two couples marched front a side room to music furnishedby Mr. Bert Benjamin, to the parlor,*•forming a circle before the audience, ltev. Albert Buxton performed the the marriage in the presence of seventy-live witnesses, a large number of them being from DcWitt and Fair-bury, besides some from Lincoln and Omaha. Klder Buxton lias a •brief but pretty ceremony.
