Fourth quarters have broken and made the Happy Cowboys’ season this fall.After losing on a couple of fourth quarter fumbles last week, the Cowboys exploded in fourth quarter action Friday night to tromp the New Home Leopards 127-0. . 'All of Happy’s scoring came in 1 the fourth stanza as the Cowboys took advantage of New Home fumbles and mistakes in the last 6 minutes of play.Chris Pearson made three Happy scores on one-, 24-, and 36-yard runs. Gregg Looney picked up another Cowboy touchdown with a six-yard run.Scoring was rounded out by a Looney extra point conversion and a kick by Andy Hand.“It was all defensive during the first three quarters,” said Coach Robert Criswell. “We made a lot of mistakes and made a lot of fumbles.”In racking up their win, the Cowboys totalled 301 yard rushing compared to 148 tallied by the Leopards.Happy made 17 first downs while New Home made 11.Next opponent for the Cowboys is Whiteface at Whiteface next Friday night.
