Start SickRoom LoanCouncil of Jewish Women, Tucson section, has taken on a second community project with the initiation of the Sick Room Loan Chest. Its purpose is to supply sick room needs to persons ill at home who are unable to purchaseor rent required sick roomaccessories.Referral slip from a member of the Pima County Medical Society or an accredited hospital or social agency will be honored. Service is wholly on a non-sectarian and nonprofit basis, and will be manned entirely by voluntary personnel.The local organization is seeking articles for the loan chest, which may be taken to the headquarters, 721 N. 4thAve., any Friday from 9 tonoon.
