A Navy mascot cat, who sur vived the battle of the Coral Sea, got scared at a compressor outside a Salisbury restaurant, tore his thigh loose and disappeared into the night. His master, Capt. W B Phillips, U. S.N, is frantic because “Bob by”—black with a pink nose and a white V on his neck—has been with him throughout the war. Capt. Phillips and Bill Ahtes, proprietor of the restaurant from which Mascot Bobby disappeared, searched until 1 a. m., today Capt. Philips and Mrs. Phillips had to go on to Old Point Comfort for duty, but Mrs. Phillips will return to Salisbury in 10 days en route to her Long Island home Capt.
