On Tuesday evening the Ladies Aid of the United Church met at the home of Mrs. J. Hanlon, in a farewell gathering for Mrs H. R. Moacley. A very happy time was spent in a hat making contest, Mrs. Gibbings taking the prize; and another contest, with Mrs. Morrow, winner. Before refreshments were served, Mrs. J. A, Grnmmett read an address to Mrs. Moxley, which expressed appreciation of the kind and witling services rendered dor* ing her many years’ connection with the Aid, and extende’d best wishes and prayer for God's blessing In the coming days. Then Mrs. J. Taylor handed Mrs Mox* ley a large size shopping bag. After the singing of “Aold Lang Syne” the gathering dispersed.
