Death of Former ResidentMrs. Barbara MehJ Kuhns died at Goshen last Wednesday, aged 77 years. She was born in Holmes county, O., August 20, 1842, and was a daughter of the late Christian Mehl. In 1859 she was united in marriage with Eiias Kuhns. Soon afterward she and her husband located just west of Sbipsbe-wana, where they resided 50 years. In 1909 they moved to Goshen. Mr. Kuhnsdied six years ago. Six children sur• *vive her: Joseph and Allen of Elkhart; Mrs. L. D. Baker, Mrs. C. D. Weath* erwax, JSlmer C. and Mrs. W. B. Stein-inger, at whose home she died. The funeral was held Friday at 2:30 o'clock, with interment in Oak Ridge cemetery at Goshen. Mrs. Kuhns was an aunt of Dr. A. J. Hostetler.
