The whole effect will be one of marvelous beauty, and will add most to the natural grandeur of the place.The irregular shape of the lagoons will not be changed and the sunken gardens will have the same irregular outlines The gardens will therefore be laid out informally, but the planting of the shrubba and flowers and the arrangement of the fountains will be sufficiently formal to show the effect of careful planningMr Dos well who has for year* been m charge of Lmdenwood cemetery has combined the natural beauty of the place with artificial improvements until a wonderful result hap been achieved The rolling ground has been traversed with driveways until Linden wood's wooded hills are known throughout this section of the country as making Indiana’s most beautiful cemetery The thinkly wooded areas have beep, thinned out in some places, and in others trees have been planted Shrubs and flowering plants abound and. the well kept lawns about the thousand* upon thousands of white and grey stone* and shafts make the place one not soon to be forgotten.The work of preparing the lagoon basins for the sunken gardens will commence at once, but is not likely that the garden* will be completed before next fall Mr. Doswoll will spare neither time nor expense in making improvements, but it is n matter which cannot be rushed, and the time and labor spent will bring results of immeasurable valuemm pun par rnnn*e
