Months ago he backed a movement in Monroe for a referendum on the war. It is said that his friends will try to interest the La Follette organization in his candidacy. Judge Becker was a candidate for circuit judge at the time that Judge Grimm was elected. If memory serves us rightly he was a member of the democratic party then.-o-
