Mrs. Marella Lewis passed away at her residence in this city last Thursday afternoon at 5:25 after a prolonged ill-, ness, Mrs. Lewis was 44 years of age and is survived by three children: Mrs. Ray Webster and' Emery of this city 1 and Charles, who makes his home in Waterloo, and also two sisters and one brother. The sisters are Mr. -L C. j Elgin, of this city, Mrs. John Meyers, ; Alma, Neb., and Tom Schrack, of; Cleveland, Ohio. iMrs. Lewis has made her home in this city for the past 12 years and her death has occasioned sincere regret throughout the city where she was so well and favorably known,; The funeral services were held from the home, 417 East Twelfth St., Saturday morning, at 7:30 after which her remains were taken to Ackley, where they will be laid to rest beside those of1 her husband who prseeded her 15 years1 r * ago.
