Reminded she was wearing the identical blouse for one club’s publicity that she had recently worn for still another organization’s, June gave co-workers a laugh by making a frantic but vain effort to switch outfits with them. That’s okay, June, it looked so good on you, we enjoyed seeing it again.Port Retorts— A phone call from Bobble Mullins. Bobbie is a woman of whom we stand in complete awe. While we struggle to park a standard-sized automobile, she wheels a school bus around as if it were a mini-car. Winch brings us to the subject. She read our recent report of mommas waiting for high school students and said some of those mommas - daddys too - were blocking bus lanes so badly, it frequently took 20 minutes to get to riders. That’s a no-no, parents, please don’t do that anymore.And Reports— Michael Nash also called-from Califomia-vesterday to say he is back in college, but enjoyed his Port Lavaca visit. Mike is the young man down here in August tracking down his family tree and visiting the Raymond Clays, his cousins.Hey, all of you over at the First Baptist Church, next Thursday is David Hairel’s birthday. Don’t forget to wish your music minister a happy day.
