Hawley, Pa. — Friday Morning, September 16, 1966SAIL RACE WINNERS — Winners and officials of last weekend’s sailing races on Lake Wallenpaupack at the Lake Wallenpaupack Yacht Club, are pictured above as trophies were distributed following the races. From left to right are Jules Garriga of Kinnelon, N.J., and the Fay son Lakes Yacht Club, chairman for the weekend race; Dick Redfield of Kinnelon, N.J., and the Fayson Lakes Sailing Club, Race Committee Chairman; Jim Walters of Wayne, N.J., Pines Lake Yacht Club, 2nd place weekend sailing winner and 2nd place winner for the summer series of races; Bill Shannon of Newton, N.J., and the Swarts-wood Lake Yacht Club, co-chairman for the summer series; Tad Borz of Millville, N.J., of the Union Lake Yacht Club, first place winner in the weekend races, holding trophygiven by Lake Wallenpaupack Association; Robert Uguccioni, Greentown, business secretary of the Lake Wallenpaupack Association; Harold Compton of Tafton; Roy Volkman of Clinton, N.J., and the Hunterdon Sailing Club, co-chairman with Shannon for the Sanction Regatta for Duster Class held over the weekend, and Terry Martin of Wayne, N.J., and the Packanack Lake Yacht Club, 3rd in the Sanction Regatta races. Robert Flack of Riverton, N.J., and the Riverton YC, was the winner in the best of four races and won the Owen B. Merrill Trophy displayed on table. Flack was not present. Third place series winner John Morton Jr. of Riverton, N.J. was also not present.
