Salem. Ore. (U.R)—Salem has an old horse-drawn steam fire engine for sale. At a council meeting here recently, Lincoln L. Doney offered the city $103.50 for the old vehicle which has been stored in the city barns for years. With an eye to business, councilmcn declined Doney's offer. Thinking they could get more for it. they moved that bids be requested.
