Bill Youngson has purchased Steve Pittendrigh’s bag and now makes Wallace Mountain on high. Hugh McGillivary returned ‘to town’. ‘on Wednesday:morning from a business trip to’ Green wood. : Mr. McAdams, salesman ..for Marshall-Wells Ltd., Vancouver, was a visitor from Nelson*during the week. ‘Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Clegg, of the Sally mine, have returned from a three ‘ weeks motor trip to, coast points. Mrs. Hamon and Mrs.. De Guelle, of Carmi,‘are moving to camp and, expect to make their home here in the future. A.N..Mowat...of Greenwood, accompanied by his’ daughter, Olive, and Mrs. Robinson, spent a few hours in town on Friday.” H. W. Gregory, general road foreman, was in town during the week inspecting the bridge which was under repair across the Kettle River. Mr. Stanhope has purchased the machinery formerly owned by the Beaverdell Mines Ltd, and is installing it at his claim The Bounty. The many friends of Mrs. E. Luther are glad to see her home again after her successful opera tion, which she underwent in the Greenwood and District Hospital.
