any of FILMS CANCELLED AND AMUSEMENT CO. “Fatty” Must Prove His Innocense Before Theatres Return to His Feature Productions. American Falls picture show men have cancelled contracts caling for the showing of “Fatty” Arbuckle pic tures and the cancellation will stand unless the famous film comedian can, prove that he is not gully of the charges and penning against him. Roacoo “Fatty” Arbuckle, as he by best known, is a prisoner in the San Francisco jail held on a charge of murder. Virgina Rappe, a film act iess of Los Angeles, died following a party held in the Arbuckle apartment’ in a San Fransisco hotel. The girl was, moved from the hotel and died in a hospital of that city. A friend of the dead girl actress who was a member of the party in Arbuckle’s apartments, awore out the complaint. It has been shown that liquor was much Incvi dence and it is alleged that Arbuckle attacked the girl who died. Arbuckle has been refused bail and is held In jail with other prisoners. On the advice of his attorneys he was re fused to talk or make any statement, Arbuckle 9 well known In Boise and several towns In north Idaho wh he apeared In picture houses before he became famous. Johnson Clark of the Auditorture Theatre annd Sid Oliver of the Trene have cancelled all Arbuckle films and stated the morning that they are but following up the rule adopted by all uminaries at the boxing program to the Clara Hannon case to keep the pictures free from every Influence which would detract.
