Sliver Causes Much Pain.Mrs. Jos. Eh ringer is suffering with a very sore thumb. A-bout three weeks ago she ran a sliver under the mail the full length. Mr. Eh ringer pulled the sliver out and for a few days she did not suffer any but the thumb was quite sore and the latter j part of last week it became very painful. On Saturday Mrs. Eliringer was in Peoria and suffered so much with the thumb that she consulted Dr. Eichhom who lanced it and removed a large chunk of wood and much corruption and since that time she has been resting easy. However, she is not able to do any work to speak of yet.
