Deaths and Funerals.Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Bernard F Martin vere held Monday morning from the family residence, West avenue, and from the Cathedral. There was a large attendance. Bishop McQuaid occu*pied his throne of honor. Rev. J. F.Kiernan officiated at the solemn high mass and Rev. J G Van Ness aodiRev. Coleman F. O’Loughlio assistedas deacon and sub-deacon. Rev. T. C. Murphy was deacon of honor and Rev. James F. O’Hare sub-deacon ofhonor. The following acted as pallbearers: Judge J. F. Kinney, Geo.F. Nier, Dr. F. W. Maloney, JohnKiley, James L. Whalen and Thomas H. Groves.
