Passing numerous shafts and tunnel /mouths of various mines, among a P/ cluster of cabins is the saloon of Mr. J. / Moffatt, which is a resort of a great many miners and prospectors, who congregate nightly to discuss the situation, and partake of Mr. Moffatt’s good cheer. At the head of the gulch is the store of Mr. Thos.
