The articles in last weeks’ Times and Monday's Enquirer are abortive attempts of the author to defame the good name and character of U. H, Hester. They. are as false as the author himself, but probably not quite so mean, as his equal for double-dyed downright cussed meanness we believe has not yet been found on this mundane sphere. His name is Jacob H. [Foster and he is going about the streets asking Republicans to help him out this Fall, by voting for the Democratic candidates.
