Meeting of the School Board. A special meeting of the school board was held yesterday when the pointments were made : Miss Kila Scott, additional Union street, following an assistant at Miss Lillie Burton, additional assistant at Green street. The following assistants were also ap pointed At Eckhart, Mary FE. Ricker, jat Jackson, Ma wgle Welsh. The following appointments by trustees Were confirmed: Ellen McCaffrey, Allo gany Mines; Mary Thompson, Town Creek; Clara K. Smith, Warrior Mountain ; Wom, JE. Graves, Lashley; Rona A. Daniels, Spring Gap ; Laura Howser, Orleans, Abraham Williams, Peter Jackson and M. J. Francis were appointed trustees to Westernport colored school. The board declined to grant the petition s S. H. Brady and others at Orleans. Adjourned.
