Suiuidk.—A. Williams, rcsidiLg near Con ter Point, Linn county, committed suicide by hanging, Wednesday of inst week. He was found suspended by a rope from a beam in his barn, and was dead when discovered. Mr. Williams has beer, a resident of this county for twenty-five years; was a frugal, industrious farmer, the owner of a lino farm, and possessed of considerable money and property, making liicn one of the wealthy farmers of the county. He was about fifty years of age. If any cause is known for his Self-destruction it has not yet been made public.
