This Week his Majeftv, with feveral of the PrimeNobility, were entertain’d at the Cable of Windfor with a furprifing Mufical Machine, contriv’d and made by Mr. Pinchbeck, a celebrated Clock-maker ot'Fleetftreer, London, which perform’d Variety of fine Pieces of Mu-fick compofed by Mr. Hendell, and other Matters, upon the Organ, Flute, Flagiokr, German Flute, and other Inftrumcnts, both Single and in Parts, in fuch extraordinary Perfeion, that it was generally allow’d to be the greateft Piece of Art that has yet appear'd in Europe of this kind; and we hear thac Mr. Pinchbeck is encouraged to undertake a Machine to perform fome of the choiceft Sonatas and Concertos of Corelli, Albinoni and Mr. Hendell, in all their Parts, as well on the a-foreraid Infhuments, as with Trumpets and Kettle Drums, to be let in a private Summer-houfe. *
