Melnyk, both of Chipman, Alberta.• • •Range bulls are going to be scarcer than usual this fall. As an indication of the movement of long yearling bulls to commercial operators. one Oregon buyer took 139 head out of southern Montana in one shipment. With Howard Lewis, Bozeman, acting as agent. Gill Cattle Co. purchased 38 head from A. E. Boswell. Billings; 30 from Wilbur Storey, Bozeman: 11 from JerryPrescot. Bozeman; 7 from H. L. Towne, Bozeman; 6 from Ray Isbell Son. Wilsall, and 14 from Tip Cline. Manhattan.Fred Gill who made the selection is reported to have said he was impressed with the size and scale of Montana Herefords.
