Riflemen from Montana gave a good account of themselves at the rifle contest conducted by the federal government at Camp Perry, accord ing to the report of results received by Col. Erastus H. Williams, adju tant general of the Montana National guard. Montanans winning cash prizes were: The Crowell Match—15 shots at 1,000 yards—Lieutenant Herman J. Almquist of Helena, 70; R. R. Bruce, of Canton, 67; E. R. Stolebarger, of Missoula, 66. The Wright Memorial Match—15 shots at 800 yards, T. T. McMahan, of Butte, 70. The Scott Match—15 shots at 900 yards—T. T. McMahon, of Butte, 68. The Wimbledon Cup Match—20 shots at 1,000 yards—R. R. Bruce, of Canton, §3. The Navy Match—20 shots at 200 yards—Karl Sagen, of Columbia Falls, 88. The Marine Corps Cup Match—10 shots at 600 and 1,000 yards—E. R. Stolebarger, of Missoula, 95; Carl Magni, of Hamilton, 92. The N. R. A.
